Description
A multipurpose dog that's easy to train, the Cesky Fousek has three types of hair: the soft dense undercoat that prevents the dog getting damp (and which is almost entirely shed in the summer), the topcoat that is normally harsh and coarse, and the guard hair which is mostly noticeable on the forechest, topline, flanks and shoulders. The Cesky Fousek nearly died out in the 1920s, no thanks to the First World War.

Very active, intelligent and eager to please, the Cesky Fousek is very people-oriented and is happiest when it's with its family. This breed likes to bark.
