Description
The Komondor has a long hanging tail, ears that blend in with the coat, and a thick white corded coat that makes it look a lot like a sheep. A Komondor lives in all kinds of weather with the flocks, not herding them but protecting them.
Characteristics
A Komondor isn't recommended for most families unless it has strong leadership and is raised with children from a very young age.
Health Problems
This breed is prone to hip dysplasia, bloat and skin problems.
Exercise
If this dog isn't kept as a sheep protector, at the very least it needs a lot of daily walks.
Grooming
Never brush this coat; the cords need to be divided and trimmed regularly. It also needs frequent bathing and take a long time to dry.

This dog does best in a country environment where it can run around a lot.
