Description

The Lhasa Apso is very small, has a body that's longer than it is high, has feathered pendant ears, tails that sometimes have a kink at the end, and a dense double coat that's straight and long over the whole body (including the head and eyes), reaching to the floor. They also have a distinctive "lion's mane" of fur around its face.
The Lhasa Apso is named after the sacred city of the Lhasa in the Himalayas.

The Lhasa Apso is known for its independence and intelligence. It can be standoffish with strangers but loyal and affectionate with its family. It is also known for being stubborn and may require patient and consistent training.

Exercise

Grooming

They have a long, dense coat that doesn't shed as much as other breeds, which means that they may produce fewer allergens.
The long coat doesn't need to be trimmed but when its in full coat it needs daily brushing to avoid matting
