Description
Smooth, compact and muscular, the Manchester Terrier comes in two varieties: Toy and Standard. The smooth short dense coat comes in black and tan.
Characteristics
Smart, cunning, lively and active, the Manchester Terrier is independent, faithful and loyal. It likes to please and learns new things quickly, and it thrives on attention. It will get bored and destructive if it's left alone for too long.
Health problems
This breed can be prone to glaucoma and Von Willebrand's disease.
Exercise
The Manchester Terrier needs a lot of exercise. It likes to run and play off the leash regularly.
Grooming
This is an easy-care breed and requires almost no grooming.
Living Environment
Apartment living is fine for this breed as long as it gets enough exercise. It prefers warm climates.
