Description
The Vizsla features a moderately thick tail, hair that's short on the head and longer on the muzzle, forming a beard, pronounced eyebrows, and a russet gold coat colour. This breed is also known as the Hungarian Vizsla, due to it's coutnry of origin.
Characteristics
Gentle, loving, keen, adaptable to family life and highly trainable, the Hungarian Vizsla needs a lot of daily mental and physical exercise to avoid it becoming highly-strung. Do not get this breed if you're not prepared to exercise it vigorously.
Health Problems
This breed can be prone to hip dysplasia.
Exercise
The Hungarian Vizsla has very high stamina and needs to be given daily vigorous exercise.
Grooming
The Vizsla's coat is very easy to keep groomed; simply brush it with a firm brush and dry shampoo occasionally. This breed is an average shedder.
Living Environment
It's not recommended that this breed live in an apartment; it will do best with at least an average-sized backyard.
